WHO WE ARE
Ileys Youth Development Organization is a non-profit entity with a strong commitment to social issues and the empowerment of young individuals in Somalia. Founded by educated young residents of the nation, its inception was inspired by the challenges faced by Somali youth and society as a whole, both within the country and across the globe. This initiative emerged in response to the aftermath of the central government’s collapse and the onset of civil conflicts, and it stands as a positive beacon for positive change and progress.

Our mission is to tirelessly work towards this vision by improving services, raising awareness, empowering youth, promoting cleanliness, eliminating gender discrimination in education, and prioritizing peace, education, environment.

Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) Relief in Wanla weyn
IYDO’s medical team conducted critical assessments and screenings for children suffering from severe acute malnutrition in Wanla weyn .
